Zooey Morrison), Ioan Gruffudd (Alec Morrison), Maurice Cole (Eli), Hayley
Mills, Richard E. Grant, Anne Reid
π Synopsis
Heartbroken parents Zooey and
Alec Morrison are struggling with infertility, unable to move past the tragic
loss of their young son. In a hopeful turn, they decide to open their hearts
and home to foster care. Suddenly, a precocious 7-year-old boy named Eli
appears, seemingly sent by fate. With sage maturity far beyond his years, Eli
helps guide their marriage, reigniting lost love and belonging.
As Zooey and Alec rebuild their
relationship—bonding again over simple joys like building toys and visiting Legoland—they
begin to heal. Zooey even discovers she's unexpectedly pregnant. But just when
happiness blooms, disturbing questions arise: Is Eli real? Who is he? And why
does the paperwork say no such child exists?
Foster unfolds as a heartfelt
mix of family drama, mystery, and gentle magic. It’s a poignant reminder that
love can emerge from grief—and that some angels come dressed as children.
